He is survived by: his mother Diana Niemitalo (Metzler); his daughters, Hannah Niemitalo and Olivia Higgins (Ryan); his granddaughters, Mavis Conley, Iris Higgins and Cedar Higgins; and his siblings, Sonya Halvorson, Shawn Walter (Dan), Julie Niemitalo, Rachel Lonier (Thomas) and Jett Niemitalo.
