With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marvin Johnson of Stanley, North Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Johnson and Mabel Johnson (Belseth) of Palermo, ND.; his siblings, Odin (Bernice), Selmer (Lila), Raynold (Eva), Ethel Dzaber (Reuben), Carol Nichols (Claire), Gene Johnson and Myrtle; his brother-in-law Dewey Ward; his daughter Debbie; his son-in-law Kim Grinolds; and his grandchildren, Monte Johnson and Jamie Grinolds.
He is survived by: his wife Geraine (Schultz); his children, Wayne (Carol) of Palermo, Lori Johnson of Stanley, Renee Grinolds of Palermo and Dana Daily (John) of Mandan; his grandchildren, Monica Sem (Bill), Kristal Schaaf (David), Mandi Tarasen (Dustin), Sarah Brewer, Kari Henderson (Austin), Travis Johnson, Ciji Gehrke, Heather Johnson and Zachary Johnson (Jessika); his sister Beverly Ward; and his siblings-in-law, Kenny Schultz, David Hayer and Joan Thames. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, numerous step grand and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be given to the Palermo Cemetery Fund or to Farm Rescue.
