It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Hickel in Stanley, North Dakota, born in Ray, North Dakota, who passed away on May 8, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Borghild; her parents, Hans Kopsland and Ambjorg Kopsland (Suterud); and her husband Kenneth Hickel. She is survived by: her children, Marcia Hartsoch of Tioga, Richard Hickel (Wanda) of Kalispell, MT and Cheryl Buchanan (Bill) of Tuscaloosa, AL; her grandchildren, Heidi Vigness (Jarrod), Nancy Conlee (Gary), Douglas Hickel (Katrina), Jeffrey Hickel, Alexandra Smith, Oliver Smith and Elliot Smith; and her great grandchildren, Emily, Abbey, Zachary and Madeline.
