We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2023, at the age of 79, Leroy D. Gunderson (Stanley, North Dakota), born in Powers Lake, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Borghild Nora Kleppen Gunderson; his wife Marlene Gunderson; his father Melvin Gunderson; and his siblings, Marvin "Buddy" Gunderson, Nelsie Oas and Karen Oas.
He is survived by: his children, Malinda Gunderson of Stanley, ND and Melvin Gunderson (Paige) of Stanley, ND; his granddaughter Heather Vestre (Nick); his great grandchild Donovan Vestre of Bottineau, ND; and his sisters, Muriel Smith of Powers Lake, ND, Jeanette Hoffner (Lee) of Minot, ND and Beverly Brisco of Kenmare, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and 'adopted' family members.
Memorial Contribution The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Rolling Plains Sportsman's Club youth account in Stanley, North Dakota.
