He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary (Clauson) and Sam Uran; his siblings, Ida, Agnes, Maynard, Leo, Helen, Mildred and Robert; his daughters, Susan and Diana; his grandchildren, Jodi Trandum, Monte Johnson and Scott Andes; and his children-in-law, Bruce Maier and Shelley Uran.
He is survived by: his wife Nina Nissen; and his children, Linda Trandum (Bob) of New Town, ND, Patsy Andes (Irvin) of Parshall, ND, Rodney Uran of Parkers Prairie, MN, Ellen Maier of West Fargo, ND, Carol Johnson (Wayne) of Palermo, ND and Daryl Uran of New Town, ND. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
