She was predeceased by: her father Harold DeLair; and her grandparents, William, Eliza Moore, Louis and Ida May DeLair.
She is survived by: her mother Ruby May DeLair (Moore); her husband Dale Backer; her children, Jessica Timm (Titus), Shelby Hart (Travis) and Justin Backer (Brittany); and her siblings, Debbie Alber, Kenneth DeLair (Connie), Louis DeLair (Bonnie) and David DeLair (Sherry). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the St. John's Catholic Church (407 Pleasant St, Kensal, ND 58455). A prayer will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
