He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph S. Zastoupil and Rose Zastoupil (Kostelecky); his son Patrick; his brothers, Martin and Norbert; and his sisters-in-law, Alice and Georgianne Zastoupil.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys C. Frank; his sons, Dennis (Mary Kostelecky) of Dickinson, Melvin (Laurie Sticka) of Dickinson, Dean (Jamie Nuss) of Fargo and Rodney (Brenda Ficek) of Bismarck; his grandchildren, Christine (Michael Jordan), Melissa (Michael Digatono), Garret, Grant Zastoupil, Dallas and Cory Zastoupil; his great grandchildren, Joshua Jordan, Zachary Jordan, Reuben Digatono and Cedella Digatono; his siblings, David (Delores) of Dickinson, Bernard (Bernie) of Dickinson, Daniel (Jean) of Dickinson, Joseph Jr. of Dickinson, Sister Renee and Sister Rosanne O. S. B. of Bismarck; and his sister-in-law Gladys M. Zastoupil of Rapid City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are recommended to St. Mary's Catholic Church, South Heart.
