It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Monette of Sheyenne, North Dakota, born in Belcourt, North Dakota, who passed away on June 10, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Monette and Helen Monette (Davis); his great-grandparents, Joe and Caroline Monette; his stepson William Blake; his granddaughter Erica Blake; and his brother Robert Monette.
He is survived by: his former wife Delores Turcotte; his wife Charlotte Spears; his children, Monty Monette of Grand Forks, ND and Michelle Martin (Dwayne) of Belcourt, ND; his stepsons, Joseph Blake of Sheyenne, ND and Robert Blake; his grandchildren, Dustin Monette (Melissa), Shannon Monette, Adam Monette (Jackie), Katie Monette, Casey Monette, William Martin, Duane Martin (Bineeshii), Reese Martin, Elicia Martin (Austin), James Blake, Alexis Bostrom (Nels) and Melissa Collins (Brady); and his siblings, Vernon Monette (Karen), Carol Ann Davis of Belcourt, Janice Schlenvogt (Allen) of Belcourt and Theresa Poitra (Ronald) of Belcourt. He is also survived by the children and grandchildren.
