He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Bjugstad and B. Lorine Bjugstad (Strand); and his siblings, Don and Marlene. He is survived by: his wife Debra; his children, Brandon Bjugstad (Jenna) of West Fargo, ND, Cayla Rose (James) of Valley City, ND and Austin Bjugstad (Halee) of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Connor Liebersbach, Chloe Liebersbach, James Rose, Brinley Bjugstad, Addilyn Bjugstad and Olivia Bjugstad; and his siblings, Dennis Bjugstad, Jean Nelson, Helen Vincent, Vern Bjugstad, Neil Bjugstad and Gary Bjugstad. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He fought Parkinson's Disease and multiple myeloma as long as he could.
