He was predeceased by: his parents, Hjalmer Evanson and Gladys Evanson (Peterson); and his sister Coya. He is survived by: his wife Ardis; his son Arne (Nina); his grandchildren, Martin and Miriam of Norway; and his siblings, Darell (Dianne) of Sheldon, Sheila Stech (Charlie) of Waubun, MN and Lori Slather (Jeff) of Rapid City, SD. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
