He was predeceased by: his parents, John Platt and Bertha Platt (Offerdahl); and his former wife Carol Platt (Van Tassel). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Platt; his children, Brenda Muller (Scott Kelley), Darryl Platt (Vicki), Michael Platt (Craig), Lonnie Barnhill (Vince Roth), Brent Kropp (Amber) and Rick Kropp (Steph); and his sisters, JoAnn Mayle (Ron) and Merrilee Ehlert (Virgil). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
