She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Schier and Dorothy Schier. She is survived by: her nephew Justin Carlson; her husband Dennis W. Carlson of Sharon, ND; her children, Michelle Woinarowicz (Kent) of Warren, MN, Lisa Reynolds (Lance), Rachel Bosch (Brad) of Bismarck, ND and Luke Carlson (Jodi) of Finley, ND; her grandchildren, Paden Fetting, Ethan Woinarowicz, Mason Woinarowicz, Tylan Reynolds (Ashley), Cade Reynolds, Jace Dahl, Xyler Carlson, Kiaza Carlson and Briella Carlson; her siblings, Kris Zabel (Herb), Carol Bakken (Steve), Ron Schier (Kathy), Mike Schier (Cyndi) and Dale Schier (Linda); her siblings-in-law, John Carlson (Evonne), Ilene Larson and Joyce Trageton; and also Riley Reynolds.

The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Hospice of the Red River Valley, Grand Forks, ND.
