It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Nelson of Sentinel Butte, North Dakota, born in New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Nelson and Laurette Nelson (Kiecker); and his brother Jon Woodrow. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Huebner of Sentinel Butte; his children, Blade Nelson (Elizabeth) of Hulett, WY, Joshua Nelson (Stefanie) of West Chester, PA, Luke Nelson, Jesse Nelson (Angie), Beach, Nathan Nelson (Gena), Joseph Nelson (Jennifer), Ingrid Nelson, Daniel Nelson and Katy Jablonsky (Justin); his grandchildren, Jake Nelson, Pete Nelson, Seth Nelson, Abby Nelson, Dane Nelson, John Nelson, Sawyer Nelson, Emma Nelson, Ella Nelson and Ayla Nelson; and his sisters, Gail Swenson Kiecker of Fairfax, MN, Janet Wright and Cindy Hartwig.
