It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome W. Smyle of Scranton, North Dakota, who passed away on March 27, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kate Smyle and Frank Smyle of Reeder, ND.; his father-in-law John Chiesa; and his sisters, Sharon Steiner and Jo Ann Ledeman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pete and JoAnn; his brother-in-law Gary Symanowski; his son-in-law Bryan; his wife Joanne Smyle; his daughter Annette Krinke (Bryan); his grandchildren, Austin Krinke (Jamie), Tiffany Krumm (Derrik) and Chloe Krinke (Dustin Snyder); his son Frank Smyle (Sheila); his granddaughter Madison; his son Jerry Smyle (Debra); his grandchildren, Conner, Jacob and McKenna; his great grandchildren, Layla, Eli (Krinke), Eleanor and Iris (Krumm); his siblings, Yvonne Moen (Ilene), Ilene Dobner, Evelyn Symanowski (Gary), Peter Smyle (Betty) and Frank Jr. Smyle; and his siblings-in-law, Ken Steiner and Sharon Chiesa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
