He is survived by: his significant other Renae Ann Jerome (Hoffner); his brother Kenny Sr.; his uncle Ignatius Jackson; his nephew Mystic River; his daughter Kayla Walking Elk (Charles); his grandchildren, Brooklyn Longie, Marshawn Longie, Zayden Merrick and Charles Walking Elk III; his siblings, Merle Botone (Barnie), Rose LeBeau, Marty Jackson, Lorna Youngbird (Delmer), Samuel Merrick, Darin Jackson, Wesley Jackson and Duane Jackson; his aunts, Carol Black, Diane Jackson and Doris Jackson; and his uncle Jim Baker Sr..
A procession was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the City Plaza (210 U. S. Rte 2, Devils Lake, ND 58301). A wake was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the St. Michael's Wellness Center (136 1st St, St Michael, ND 58370). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
