With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russel Johansen of Ryder, North Dakota, who passed away on June 13, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Johansen and Lena Johansen (Allen); his wife Jeanette Skogen; his great grandchildren, Zane Lautenschlager and John Evanosky; his son-in-law Tom Bleeker; his brothers, Robert Johansen (Beth), David Johansen (Ida) and Gerald Johansen; and his siblings-in-law, Marian Bergan (Cliff), Jeanice Peterson Officer (George), Grace Hayes (John), Marcella Lois Skogen, Lloyd Peterson, Irving and Carlyle Skogen.
He is survived by: his children, Jan Bleeker of Victoria, TX, Larry Johansen (Linda), Colleen Sorenson (Larry), Craig Johansen (Mel), Ryder and Darla Osborn; his grandchildren, Tonya Dees (Todd), Lynde McCammond, Sonya Evanosky (Bob), Dana Smith (Mike), Rachel Dykxhoorn (Arthur), Travis Sorenson (Carissa) and Marcella Evans (Cody); his great grandchildren, Justin (Kristen), Austin, April, Josiah Dees, Cole McCammond, Christopher, Jack Evanosky, Evan Smith, William, Benjamin, Daniel, Jeremiah, James, Vaughn, Lydia Dykxhoorn, Piper, Benit Sorenson, Shayd Dalen, Zoe Lautenschlager, Rylan, Cashton, Jaxon Evans and Kade Quale; and his sisters-in-law, Delina Johansen and Le Anna Skogen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
