He was predeceased by: his parents, Ossie McKinzie and Ellen McKinzie (Kelly). He is survived by: his former wife Frances Johnson of Ryder; his wife Joyce Best Rocheleau; his children, Linda Madsen (Tom) of Minot, ND, Mike McKinzie (Jodi) of Fort Meyers, FL and Julie Brandvold (Lee) of Ryder, ND; his grandchildren, Shawn McKinzie (Kristen), Corey McKinzie, Courtney Haugstad (Brian), Shelsey and Stetson Brandvold; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Easton and Deklan Haugstad; his brothers-in-law, Marvin Felan and Darold Johnson; his daughter Glenda; and his siblings, Lorene Conklin (Vincent), Ralph McKinzie (Lois) and Marie Felan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
