It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar John Howard III of Ryder, North Dakota, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 22, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Janet Grady-Slind and Olin "Blacky" Howard; his great-grandparents, Julia and Harry Grady; and his uncles, Wilbur Howard and Robert Grady.

He is survived by: his grandparents, Gary Slind, Arnie Grady, Raymond Grady, Margaret Grady and Christine Bluestone; his siblings, James and Cierra; and his aunt Angela Howard (Anna Howard). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
