She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Sorenson and Arlene Sorenson (Brandt). She is survived by: her husband Russell Semmen of Douglas, ND; her children, Chad Semmen (Mandy), Amy Makeeff (Lance), Mickey Semmen and Ryder; her brother Gary Sorenson; and her grandchildren, Jordan Semmen, Dahja Steed and Kacee Gayle Makeeff. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and her precious circle of friends.
She then became her own boss by starting the Semmen Adult Foster Care Home business in their home in Ryder providing 24/7 care to residents with dementia and Alzheimer's illness.
