She is survived by: her children, Ed (JoDee) of Crookston, MN, Dick (Bernadette) of Valley City, ND and Barb Rick (Bob) of Fergus Falls, MN.; her grandchildren, Cody Nelson (Anja) of Oslo, Norway, Darren Nelson (Andrea) of Valley City, ND, Bridget Orner (Matt) of West Fargo, ND, Luke Nelson of Valley City, ND, Patrick Nelson (Mindy) of Potomac Falls, VA, Liz Nelson (Jerry Ryerson) of Valley City, ND, Tara Rick (Jose Debes) of St. Paul, MN and Justin Rick (Mallory) of Carver, MN.; her great grandchildren, Reid, Rayne Nelson, Matthew Hammerschmidt, Avery, Cooper, Gunner Orner, Maddie and Elliot Rick; and her brother-in-law Gerald Nelson (Nellie) of Fargo, ND. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Instead of flowers, memorials are preferred to Four Seasons Healthcare, Forman, ND; Nordland Lutheran Church, Rutland, ND; Rutland Cemetery, Rutland, ND; and CHI Hospice, Valley City, ND, who took exceptional care of Mom for six months.
