He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Harms and Dorothy Harms (Gilbertson); his parents-in-law, Marvin and Audrey Pearson; his brother Ronald "Butch" Harms; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Harms.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine A. Pearson; his children, Joel Harms (Linda) and Heather Nekola (David); his grandchildren, Brittany Edelman (Garrett), Melissa Harms, Megan Harms, JJ Harms (Alexis), Christian and Tyler Nekola; his great grandchildren, Anaro and Athena Harms; and his brother Dean Harms (Sandra). He is also survived by four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
