He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; his sons, Mickey Schaf (Jennifer) of Lincoln and Brian Schaf of Bismarck; and his siblings, Robert of Mandan, Dean of Bismarck, Shawn (Jennifer) of Minot, Renee Klabunde (Wayne) of Garrison and Debbie Lee Bruhn (Jeff) of Rockplace. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
