He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Sattler and Katherine Sattler (Thomas); and his siblings, Gertude Iverson, Eva Mears, Wendelin, Adam, Andrew, Sylvester, Paul, Katherine and George Sattler.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Pederson; his children, SyAnn (Randy Graber), Sheryl (Thad Shively), Sandy (Tim Bonn) and Steve Sattler; and his siblings, Rose Marie Weber and Gabriel Sattler. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
