He was predeceased by: his parents, George Haakenson and Evelyn Haakenson (Watkins); and his in-laws, Gerald and Doris Semler. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his son Todd (Kristie) of Barton; his grandsons, Brody, Blake (Kaitlyn) and Brant; his daughter Brekka (Corey) of Rugby; his grandchildren, Olivia and Jayce; his sisters, Carolyn Due (Stan) of Minneapolis, MN and Geneva Weisser (David) of Hastings, MN; his siblings-in-law, Tim Semler (Connie) of Willow City and Susan Arneson (Tim) of Polson, MT; and his nephew Chris Due. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
