Leland Mark Ekren Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2023, at the age of 84, Leland Mark Ekren (Rugby, North Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Myrtle Ekren (Haugen); his wife Betty Lou Burow; his sisters, Marlene and Myrtle; and his siblings-in-law, Milton, Tillie Burow, Rodney Burow and Douglas Burow.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Wilson, Jeff Ekren, Russell Ekren of DesMoines, WA and Sheri Batesole; his grandsons, Jacob of Fargo, Joshua of Fargo, Jett of Fargo and Jackson Batesole of Fargo; his brother Curtis Ekren (Jane); his siblings-in-law, Mila Burow and Floyd Burow (Marrel); and his close friend Connie Mitchell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
He donated communion wine to all the local churches for many years.
