He was predeceased by: his parents, Malvin Gerjets and Ethel Gerjets (Trimborn); his sister Marlys Lang; and his siblings-in-law, Noble Penn and Sandra McLachlan.
He is survived by: his spouse Cheryl Berke; his daughters, Dawn Hintz (David) of Bismarck, ND and Nicole Gerjets (Paul Calhoun); and his sister Deloris Penn of Tacoma, WA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers or plants memorials are preferred to Christ Lutheran Church or an organization of the donor's choice.
