He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Blessum and Barbara Blessum (Miller); and his brother Harlan. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Fritel of Rugby; his children, Jay Blessum (Suzanne) of Minot, Julie Voeller (Dustin) of Minot, Andrea Blessum of Bismarck and Pamela Blessum of Maui; his grandchildren, Samantha, Tabitha, Forest, Connor, Dane, Brody and Reed; and his sister Joan Orvik of Bismarck.
