He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Hageness and Alice Hageness (Paulson); his wife Jordy; his brother Harlow; his sister-in-law Donna; his brother Elvern; and his brother-in-law Dennis Voeller.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Hageness (Sandy) of Lake Metigoshe, Tracy Hageness of Rugby and Tanya Meyer (Russ) of Boise, Idaho; his grandchildren, Anthony Hageness and Nigel Hageness (Baylee); his children, Shelby Boucher (Joshua), Josie, Addie and Isaac Meyer; his great grandchildren, Loucie, Mylah Jordith and Violet Boucher; his sister Sharon Voeller of Rugby; and also, Elvern, Sharon and Reverend George Garbarkawitz.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Niewoehner Funeral Home (213 2nd Ave SW, Rugby, ND 58368). A prayer was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Saint Paul Lutheran Church (320 8th St SW, Rugby, ND 58368). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Persilla Watts Cemetery (300 9th Ave SW, Rugby, ND 58368). A burial will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
