He is survived by: his parents, Frank Burgard and Ottilia Burgard (Hager); his wife Barbara; his children, Connie (Harry), Graaf of Slating, PA, Beverly (John), Johnson of Melita Manitoba, Donavan, Minot, Ruth (Larry), Towner, Gary of Ada, MN, Cindy (Gary), Myron, Walter, Jon, Fargo, Barbara Burgard and Devils Lake; his sisters, Terry Lavitt of Rugby, Dorothy (Leonard) of Rugby and Geotz of Rugby; his sisters-in-law, Kate Burgard of Franklin, WI and Theresa Burgard of Rugby; and his sisters, Barbara Wolf, Pauline Eberle and Julie Axtman. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
