It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Ray Boucher of Rugby, North Dakota, who passed away on October 30, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elmer Ray Boucher to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphee Boucher and Mary Boucher (Langevin); and his siblings, Marciel, Leonard, Delbert, Adelard, Olard, Leo, Oscar, Cordelia, Morella, Wella, Ales and Arthur.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his daughters, Lori Dockter (Barry) of Minot, Tami Neubauer (Larry) of Bottineau, Kari Vitt (Steve) of Shell Knob, MO and Kristi Matejcek (Kevin) of Brocket; his grandchildren, Tanner Dockter (Molly), Lacey Mayer (Mitch), Sara Lyons (Dwayne), Rob Neubauer, Tyler Neubauer (Hailey), Philip Neubauer, Nathan Vitt (Morgan), Tim Vitt (Katie), Kaylene Fullington, Karlie, Kamron and Karson Matejcek; his great grandchildren, Remy, Tahj Lyons and Simon Dockter; his sister Bernice Sauve (Ray) of Bemidji, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Mick Kester (Janice), Pennie Grenier (Gary) and Cheryl Gaugler (Randy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 there will be a private family memorial service held on Wednesday, Nov. 4th at 1:00 p. m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials made in honor of Elmer to the Saint Edward Cemetery fund or to Heart of America Hospice.
