He is survived by: his wife Mardelle Marie Michels; his children, Steven Helm of Springfield, Carla Helm of Minot and Roanne Thingvold (Wade) of Willow City; his grandchildren, Cody Marquart (Kendra) of Shelby, Montana, Casey Marquart (Teresa) of Surrey, Toni Jo Roerick of Minot and Hayden Thingvold of Grand Forks; his great grandchildren, Fin Marquart, Enzley Roerick, Otto Marquart and Clayton Marquart; his siblings, Jerry Helm (Barb), Bonnie Helm, Merry Helm (Jon) and Farrel Helm (LeAnn); and his in-laws, Judy Kremers and Darrell Michels (Clarice). He is also survived by nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
