He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Meckle and Lydia Meckle (Grabofsky); his wife Beverly Bayley; his son Steven (Kayleen); his children-in-law, Sean, Paul and Kayleen; his daughter Michelle Swenson (Sean); his grandchildren, Maggie, Owen, Ben, Theodore Allan of Keene and Caleb of Mott; his daughter Sarah Osborne (Paul); his granddaughters, Bethany and Elizabeth of Omaha, Nebraska; his sisters, Julie Bachmeier (Joe) of Towner and Bette Langseth (Lyle) of Williston; his sister-in-law Sally Meckle of Leesburg, Florida; his brothers, Tony (Sammie) of Martin, Jim (Dorothy) of Denhoff, John (Elinor) of Harvey, Mark (Laurie) of Carlsbad, NM, Tim (Jody) of Minot and Danny (Dacia) of Fargo; his brother-in-law Eugene Pillatzke of Anamoose; his siblings, Harold and Sally; and his grandparents, Emanuel, Lydia Meckle, John and Lydia Grabofsky. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; other relatives and friends.
Prayer service and sharing of memories will be held on Thursday at the church beginning at 7:00 p. m. Please be mindful of the COVID-19 requirements for social distancing, hand hygiene practices and a facial covering is recommended.
Allan spent the past five years working with the Heart of America Community Service Program in Bottineau, McHenry and Pierce Counties, and working part time as an LPN in the Alzheimer Unit at HAMC.
