He is survived by: his wife Alice Reiter; his children, Lorilee Kaplan (Kurt) of Shawmut, LeeAnn Seil (John) of Rugby, LeeAllen Leier (Rebecca) of Rugby, Marlene Hoffart (Rick) of Hubbard, Marylou Haskell (Rob) of Fargo, Terry Leier (Debbie) of Minot, Wayne (Annette) of Orrin and Jodi Larson (Anthony) of Hettinger; his brother Ray Leier (Diane) of Rugby; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Leier of Anamoose. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
