It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Veronica Malaterre of Rolla, North Dakota, born in Belcourt, North Dakota, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raphael Jeanotte and Bibian Jeanotte (Houle); her daughters, Linda Williams and Connie Enno; and her siblings, Francis, Arthur, James Jeanotte and Angeline Malaterre.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Malaterre of Belcourt, Betty Jeanotte (Cecil) of Belcourt, Maynard Malaterre of Rolla, Marvin Malaterre (Alberta) of Belcourt, Susan Keplin of Bismarck, Allan Malaterre (Shirley) of Belcourt, Paula Malaterre (Mike Vivier) of Belcourt and Mary Jo Vincent (Johnny) of Rolla; and her godchildren, Sandy Patterson, Betty Osman, Lloyd "Shorty" Jeanotte and Carla Jeanotte Sigette. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren; 106 great grandchildren with one on the way; 48 great great grandchildren.
