He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Mickelson and Velma Mickelson (Makela); his brothers, Michael and Steve; his nephews, Troy Mickelson and Rick Bykonen; and his niece Carol Mickelson.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Gwen Martinson of Perth; his daughters, Dawn Halone (Jon) of Rolla, Lori Byberg (Trent) of Bismarck, Jill Wilson (Brent) of West Fargo and Kelly Johnson (Rory) of Maple Grove, MN; his grandchildren, Jacie Page (Tony), Ashton Schmidt (Jonathan), Shelby Tandeski (Nathan), Jack, Hunter, Baylee Byberg, Nichole Gubbels (Nick), Cassidy, Taylor Wilson, Kennedy Wallette, Courtney, Justin and Ana Johnson; his great grandchildren, Carter Belgarde, Abigail Page, Ellory, Samson, Rudy, Sullivan Schmidt, Tatum, Oaklyn, Crew Tandeski and Bennett Gubbels; and his siblings, Marlene Bykonen (Ronnie) of Rolla, Jeannie Merrill of Bullhead City, AZ and Thomas Mickelson (Lois) of Richland, WA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
