He is survived by: his children, Francis Smith Jr. of Rolla, Dwight Smith (Rhea) of Belcourt, Harvey Smith (Bernice Lattergrass) of Belcourt and Geraldine Smith of Fargo; and his siblings, Shirley Spoonermore, Kathy Finneman of Grand Forks, Clara Gross and Bernie Smith of Grand Forks. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
