With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erma Addie Mickelson of Rolla, North Dakota, who passed away on November 7, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren S. Cain and Gladys L. Cain (Geer); her daughter Edie Harbison; her granddaughter Amanda Guderjahn; and her siblings, Isabelle, Evelyn, Ida, Sarah, Melinda, Myrtie, Grace, Gladys, Jenny, Doveline, Toby, Johnny, Duke, Frank and Albert.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Mickelson; her children, Ed Mickelson (Rhoda) of Rolla, Dave Mickelson (Tam) of Bismarck, Shirley Tome (Jim) of Florida, Dot Guderjahn (Ted) of Bisbee and Bob Mickelson (Judy) of Cando; her grandchildren, Allison Porsborg, Brittany Wald, Elizabeth Mickelson, Annie Harbison, Bridget Lowry, Dan Mickelson, Nicole Mickelson, Nick Aberle, Matt Aberle, Jake Aberle, Rachael Held and John Carl Mickelson; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Alara, Kari, Jayden, Taylor, Ben, Adysn, Wyatt, Ava, Anna, Elizabeth and Thomas; and her great great grandchild Audra Lynn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was an avid quilter, supplying her loving family and friends with quilts and also donating quilts to worthy causes such as the Metigoshe Ministries auctions and donations to veterans.
