It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Roger Fossum (Rolette, North Dakota), born in Lawton, North Dakota, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Fossum and Rose Fossum (Trhlin); his grandsons, Elijah and Kamden; and his siblings, Edna Ann Fossum, Andrew and Nels Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Janice Mattson of Rugby; his children, Loralie Warne (Dominick) of Wahpeton, Byron (Londa) of Watford City, Nathan of Watford City and Sherri Gilseth (Jason) of Grandin; his grandchildren, Malloreigh Barron (Nathaniel), Sterling, Anya Warne, Jaxen, Skyla and Charlie Gilseth; his siblings, Doris Charon (Larry), Richard "Dick" Fossum and Mike Fossum; and his sister-in-law Diane Fossum. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
