He is survived by: his uncle Sam; his sons, Vern (Kathy), Richardton and Toby (Heidi); his granddaughter Natalie of Kate, Emma; his son Jason (Hannah); his grandchildren, Kynley and Tayley; his children, Melvin, Michael and Beth Schmitt (Wade); his grandchild Adlee of Kiesyn, Daxtin; his son James Bismarck (Julie); his grandsons, Cody of Kayla, Gracie and Jamie Berger; his children, Lexie, Dusty, Owen and Courtney Berger; and his brothers, Bill (Dorothy), Richard, Ralph and Manning. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
