He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Hanson and Inga Hanson (Knutson); and his wife Barbara Heraldson. He is survived by: his children, Sherrie Schaefer (Dan) and Kevin Hanson (Kristin) of Grand Forks, ND; his sister Shirley Schmidt of Ceylon, MN; and his grandchildren, Kassandra Gorder, Dustin Schaefer, Adam Schaefer, Andi Hanson, Alex Hanson and Emerson Rosenthal. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
