He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his parents, Norris Hegg and Edna Hegg; his brother Ronald Hegg; his grandson Alexander Kent Hegg; his nephew Richard R. Hegg; his parents-in-law, Hazelle and Harry Vigen; and his stepfather-in-law John Halvorson.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Hegg (Joe Smerer), Kristie Adam (Tim), Kathy Radermacher (Todd), Tim Hegg (Dena), Todd Hegg (Jeanne) and Travis Hegg (Jessi); his brother Neil Hegg (Judy); his sister-in-law Darlyne Hegg; and his grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Jacob, Nicholas, Jonathan, Jordan, Brett, Lucy, Jesse, Haley, Samantha, Tyler, Summer, Elizabeth and Evelyn. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
