He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Thompson and Rose Thompson (Bubak); and his siblings, Raymond, Virginia Thompson and Darlene Tostenson.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Thompson of Reeder; his sons, Wayne Thompson (Marianna) of Devils Lake, ND and Clyde Thompson (Carol); his grandsons, Chad Thompson of Bismarck, ND, Craig Thompson, Denver and Matthew Thompson; his sister Deloris Sundlee of Montevideo, MN; and his sister-in-law Delores Wirth (Wilbert).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to be given to the charity of their choice.
