She was predeceased by: her parents, Theron Gorrell and Naomi Gorrell (Steen); and her father-in-law Paul Helm. She is survived by: her husband Steve Helm; her children, Heidi Owens (Bill) of Atlanta, GA, Ian Helm (Christine) of Phoenix, AZ and Leslie Kunkel (Dan) of Tioga, ND; her grandchildren, Hadessah Owens, Lena and Erik Kunkel; her siblings, Theron Gorrell (Anna) and Peggy Gorrell; her brother-in-law Phil Hoskins-Helm (Donna); and her mother-in-law Kathy Helm. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home Chapel (104 Main St S, Tioga, ND 58852). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
