He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Flaten; his sons, David Lynn of Williston, ND, Danny Lee (Jody) of Minot, ND and Dennis LeRoy (Brook) of Tioga, ND.; his grandchildren, Pete, Hannah, Miranda, Keenen, Branssen and Abrianna; his great grandchildren, Marlaina, Vance and Paxton; and his siblings, Marie Hefner of Evansville, IN., Leo Volz (Sheila) of Fort Saint John, British Columbia and Arnie Volz (Lila) of Fairview, MT.. He is also survived by Many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
