It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary McGinnity of Powers Lake, North Dakota, who passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence McGinnity (Sagaser) and Gene McGinnity; his siblings, Phyllis Phillippi, Marliyn Filicetti, Clarice Troxel, Leon McGinnity, Janette Merrill and David McGinnity; and his grandson Dylan McGinnity.
He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Pappa; his wife Sandy; his children, Jon McGinnity of Stanley, Lee McGinnity (Camille) of Powers Lake, Jodi Obert (Perry) of Stanley, Donna Hegstad (Mitch) of Minot and Vickie McGinnity of Minot; his siblings, Diane Presnall of Yakima, WA and Michael McGinnity (Sylvia) of Mohall; and his grandchildren, Charlie, Kaylyn, Lily Obert, Gabe, Faith, Josh, Grace Hegstad, Michael McGinnity and Jacob McGinnity. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
