With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelly Nygaard of Portland, North Dakota, who passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Nygaard and Violet Nygaard (Nienas). She is survived by: her son Michael; her siblings, Sharon Hoffman (Bill), Susie Ernest, Steven Nygaard (Beverly), Sandy Montgomery (Bill), Sheila Cornell (Chip) and Silvan Nygaard (Shari); and her nephew Steven Nygaard Jr.. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
