She was predeceased by: her mother Olga; her husband Robert "Bud" Strand; her son Jens; her daughter-in-law Rosalinda Strand; her grandchildren, Andrew Strand, Allison Snyder and Nathan Strand; and her sisters, Arlene Tastad, Sylvia Reynolds and Shirley Thykeson.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Liv; her children, Ken (Kathy), Bob (Joan), Curtis (Connie), Cynthia (Karl Andreasen) and Matt (Tanya); and her sister Dorothy Amundson. She is also survived by her grandchildren for being a "fun" grandma.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel (38 1st Ave NW, Mayville, ND 58257). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bruflat Lutheran Church (1023 Parke Ave, Portland, ND 58274).
