He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Knudson and Alida Knudson (Finell); his wife Loretta Mickelson; his siblings, Alvia Knudson, Rollan Knudson and Genevieve Kullhem; and his brothers-in-law, Abner Knudson, Richard Nelson and Charlie Kullhem.
He is survived by: his children, Kari Knudson of Bismarck and Kipp Knudson (Marlana); his grandsons, Grant of Portland and Reid Strand of Portland; his siblings, Gilman Knudson (Carolyn) of Portland and MaryAnn Gunderson (Edmond) of Fargo; and his sisters-in-law, Marion Knudson of Mayville and Janet Wegge (Vern) of Mentor, MN. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
