He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Braaten and Caroline Braaten (Basol); his daughter Carol; his siblings, Clarence, Vernon and Lila; and his son Jeff.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey and David of Minneapolis, MN; his wife Arlene Stenstad; his grandchildren, Kasie Windfelder (Charles) of Navarre, FL, Rammie Olson of Fargo, ND and Brady Braaten (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Jaylee, Rhett Olson and Madelyn Windfelder; and his sister-in-law Marlys Rux (Arden Sr.) of Portland, ND. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
