With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Haugen of Portland, North Dakota, born in Mayville, North Dakota, who passed away on March 9, 2025 at the age of 64. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward Haugen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Berglot Haugen and Sigbert Haugen. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Haugen; his children, Terry Haugen (Angela), Ryan of Clifford, ND. and JoAnna Nielson (Luke); his grandchildren, Logan and Paisley of Portland, ND; his sister Becky Mapel (Dale) of Barnesville, MN.; his nieces, Stacy and Renae; and his nephew Adam.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Norsemen Hall (1100 Parke Ave, Portland, ND 58274). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to the Portland Fire Department, Portland, ND or Hospice of the Red River Valley, Fargo, ND.
